Mister Fantastic and Doctor Doom Will Battle For Eternity

Mister Fantastic and Doctor Doom have been arch-enemies since Doom's first appearance in Fantastic Four #5 in 1962. Both characters were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby and have both been huge parts of Marvel mythology. Both characters will be featured heavily in the Avengers: Doomsday film. Hopefully, this is enough to hold fans over until the film's December release.

Doctor Doom possesses a genius-level intellect as well as magical abilities. He is often portrayed as the leader of Latveria. He is one of the most iconic and powerful villains Marvel has ever had, making him the perfect choice to take on the Avengers in Avengers: Doomsday.

Writer CHALLENGES OF DOOM: MR. FANTASTIC #1 Al Ewing has had notable runs writing New Avengers, Ultimates, Guardians of the Galaxy, Absolute Green Lantern, and Immortal Hulk. The creator got his start in the pages of 2000 A.D. before breaking into American comics through a limited series of Dynamite's Jennifer's Blood created by Garth Ennis.

Artist Mike Henderson has had notable runs on Wolverine, Daredevil, and Cable, as well as co-creating The Nailbiter and The Forged for Image Comics. He is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School. He started to go to school for animation before realizing it wasn't for him and pivoting to sequential art.

CHALLENGES OF DOOM: MR. FANTASTIC #1 is available July 1st digitally through Marvel Unlimited or in print wherever comic books are sold.
