James Bond is making a thrilling comeback later this year — and fans of the legendary spy will be able to take a deep dive into the stories that inspired the 007 cinematic universe as a result.
Titan Comics has officially announced Ian Fleming's James Bond Signature Comic Strip Collection will be released on Sept. 8, 2026. The new release brings with it the first seven full-length James Bond newspaper comic-strip adventures — the ones that went on to help inspire and launch the film franchise fans have come to know and love. The release will also include an extensive gallery of original artwork by John McLusky, selected by his family.
New James Bond Release Gives Fans High Quality Look at Original Comic Strips
The new James Bond book can already be pre-ordered directly through Titan Comics or via Ian Fleming's official website. It will be a special hardcover release, 296 pages long, and a suggested retail price of $49.99.
Images shared on Fleming's shop and on Titan Comics' social media give fans their first look at the high-quality reprints. The collection brings together some of Fleming's earliest adventures with the character, and is clearly a must-have for James Bond fans and collectors. "The collection mixes incredible gadgets, thrilling car chases, beautiful women, hard-hitting action, and the occasional vodka martini, shaken not stirred," Titan writes.
James Bond lovers will be able to collect the first three years of Bond's newspaper strips, which originally ran from July 1958 to May 1961. It includes full-length stories of popular Bond storylines, including Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, Diamonds are Forever, From Russia with Love, Dr. No, and Goldfinger. Both the Titan Comics' website and Amazon.com pre-order page list the collection as 'Vol. 1,' meaning there might be even more Bond to come in the future, should the book do well.
James Bond's Comic Adventures Continue To This Day

Dynamite Entertainment partnered with Ian Fleming Publications in November 2015, releasing over 100 James Bond issues, including a main, ongoing series, spin-offs, graphic novels, and more.
As James Bond's adventures on the page continue to expand, there's been one element of the super spy's future that remains a mystery: who will be the next actor to play the character on the big screen? In 2025, it was announced that Amazon MGM Studios had secured the rights for the future of James Bond films, ushering in a new era that has left fans hanging for months. Back in September, Amazon and director Denis Villeneuve shared the news that they would be looking for a 'fresh face' to succeed Daniel Craig, with details expected to emerge sometime this year.
