Lucasfilm just dropped the final trailer for its new animated Star Wars series, and the timing couldn’t be better. With the live-action side of the franchise quiet until Star Wars: Starfighter hits theaters in May 2028, the real energy is coming from animation. All eight episodes of Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi arrive this week on Disney+ and Hulu. The series expands the popular short from the first volume of Star Wars: Visions and its follow-up in Volume 3. Production I.G is back, and this time they get the room to tell a full story. Kara, the daughter of a sabersmith, continues training under Margrave Juro while searching for her missing father. The new trailer, posted Monday on the official Star Wars YouTube channel, runs under 90 seconds and shows the threat she’s facing.
