Tom Selleck says he avoids weighing in on today’s politics because entertainers risk driving away half their audience when they take sides. The actor made the comments during a recent CNN interview on The Story Is with Elex Michaelson, while touring the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California. The library is displaying an America 250 exhibit featuring artifacts from the American Revolution, including a copy of the Declaration of Independence.
