Uwe Boll’s ‘Citizen Vigilante’ Gets Limited Release Blu-ray Set

Last month we reported that Armie Hammer is allegedly unhappy with the attention surrounding Citizen Vigilante, the latest Uwe Boll thriller that is now getting another run on home video. Puck News reported that a source close to Hammer claimed the actor was in tears after seeing the film and called it, “hateful, disgusting.” There has been no public confirmation by Hammer of that report. The movie, which stars Hammer as a man who hunts criminals and becomes an online hero, is set to hit Blu-ray this week in a limited pressing of 250 copies from Event Films Limited. The release included a slipcover on the original run and extra memorabilia, which only gives the project more fuel. It’s still available for pre-order here.
