AMC Theatres today announced the release of a commemorative series of collectible popcorn bucket tins in celebration of the 90th anniversary of DC Comics. These specially designed tins spotlight classic covers from some of the most influential comic issues in the DC Universe, appealing to cinema-goers, comic fans, and memorabilia collectors.

The new collection features a lineup of six distinct "book-style" tins that evoke the look of premium graphic novels. Priced at US$21.00 each, every tin includes a lanyard with a collectible badge inspired by Brave and the Bold #28 - the landmark issue marking the first appearance of the Justice League.

Highlights from the collection include classic cover art from:

• Action Comics #1 (1938) - Debut of Superman and the birth of the superhero genre

• Superman #1 (1939) - The first self-titled superhero comic

• Batman #1 (1940) - Featuring early appearances of The Joker and Catwoman

• Wonder Woman Vol. 1 #103 (1959) - A celebrated Silver Age depiction of the Amazonian warrior

• Showcase #4 (1956) - The Flash's Silver Age introduction

• Justice League #102 (1972) - An iconic ensemble piece celebrating DC's flagship team

Each tin accommodates approximately 85 ounces of AMC's signature popcorn, making them both a functional concession accessory and a displayworthy collectible. The rectangular tin design wraps full-color artwork around the "spine," lending shelf appeal reminiscent of vintage comic book collections.

The tins are currently rolling out at select AMC locations nationwide, with availability expected to vary by theater. While some AMC theatres have already begun offering the items, official release dates may differ - fans are encouraged to check with local theaters for confirmation. At present, the collectible tins are not available for purchase online.

With fan interest in both DC film releases and unique memorabilia on the rise, these limited-edition tins are expected to generate swift demand. Cinemagoers are advised to secure their preferred designs early, as collectors' items tied to major franchises have shown a strong tendency to sell out quickly and appreciate in secondary markets.
