Castle of Frankenstein v1 #16, 1971 - Constantly drawn to an old abandoned mansion, a man struggles with his memory. Upstairs, he finds a room occupied by a woman he used to love. This Bernie Wrightson effort was done earlier in his career, despite the publication date. Some of the drawings are quite unpolished. And yet most of the pages are rich in detail (see interior page below) and distinctive in their own right. Most of this issue's contents are movie monster-related articles and photos.
