Johnny is a cad.
He’s banging a couple cosplayers when a pal barges in and tells him that Thing has gotten engaged and is celebrating. He flames on and flies off to celebrate, where the festivities are joined by Black Panther.
While the fun is happening, there are glimpses of an alternate reality where Reed is gay and everyone’s dead. It’s another chapter in the “reality slayer” story about the “Marquis of Death,” who goes across realities killing everyone.
Earth 616 Doctor Doom, in a jail cell, knows about it and it makes him smile.
This is a “holding” issue, laying the track for the next arc.
Mark Millar’s run is really, really not good.
