Greg Nicotero's hit Creepshow revival is finally getting a follow-up from Skybound Entertainment, and Spider-Man fans will love it.

Per a press release from Skybound Entertainment, the publisher is set to bring back one of the most beloved horror anthologies of all time with the release of Super Creepshow #1. Coming hot on the heels of the hit Super Creepshow Special #1 from earlier this year, the Super Creepshow series will feature a double dose of terrifying stories that fans of Greg Nicotero's Shudder series will feel right at home with. Readers can check out the various covers for Super Creepshow #1, along with interior preview pages below.

Super Creepshow #1

Super Creepshow #1 will kick off a new ongoing series that will feature two new stories from different creative teams with each entry. The series' first issue will open with a story by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Rossi Gifford that Skybound Entertainment promises "will have your spider sense tingling!" Next up, writer Ryan North and Derek Charm will "make the case that super speed is the most horrific power of all!"

Following the release of Super Creepshow #1, readers can look forward to further stories from the likes of Gerry Dugan, Scott Buoncristiano, Marv Wolfman, Michele Rubini, Juann Cabal, Brandon Thomas, James Harren, and more, each of which will continue putting terrifying spins on iconic superhero stories and motifs.

"We were so overwhelmed by the incredible reception to our Super Creepshow Special that a miniseries was a no-brainer," Skybound Entertainment Executive Editor Ben Abernathy said of the announcement. "Adding superpowers to the horrific Creepshow formula proved to be a recipe that many creators couldn’t resist!"

The Creepshow franchise began with director George A. Romero and writer Stephen King's 1982 horror comedy anthology film of the same name. Although Creepshow garnered somewhat middling reviews from critics at the time of its release, its success at the box office spawned a feature film trilogy consisting of 1987's Creepshow 2 and 2006's Creepshow 3, the latter of which was the first in the series to be made without King's involvement. The original film also received a graphic novella adaptation written by King and illustrated by Bernie and Michele Wrightson.

In 2019, the first season of Greg Nicotero's Creepshow premiered on Shudder, serving as a continuation of the original film. Over the course of four seasons, Shudder's Creepshow amassed a 23-episode run, as well as two specials. The series' first season was lauded by critics and audiences alike, while the series as a whole went on to receive largely positive reviews throughout its run.

Back in October, Skybound Entertainment released the Super Creepshow Special, which gave creators such as Dan Watters, Ryan Stegman, and Ed Brisson the chance to put their own decidedly horrifying spins on different comic book trappings and tropes. The issue proved to be a major success for Skybound Entertainment, continuing the string of Creepshow hits that the publisher has released in recent years.

Super Creepshow #1 goes on sale March 18, 2026 from Skybound Entertainment.
