HMV Announces Exclusive UK "Superman" (2025) 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

HMV has announced the upcoming release an exclusive UK-only 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook edition of "Superman" (2025), offering fans a premium collector's version of the film. Scheduled for release on December 15, 2025, the limited-edition Steelbook will retail for £29.99, positioning it as one of the standout physical media releases of the season.
This exclusive edition presents the film in stunning 4K Ultra HD and is accompanied by an extensive array of special features. Viewers will be able to explore a full making-of documentary featuring James Gunn and key cast members, in-depth looks at the revitalized Daily Planet, a profile of Lex Luthor informed by Nicholas Hoult's performance, and a spotlight on the Justice Gang as they make their debut in the new DC Universe. Additional segments cover the creation of Krypto, the development of the film's central villain, and a thoughtful look at the legacy of Superman, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor. Interviews with Gunn and Peter Safran outline the broader direction of DC's future, while a dedicated feature showcases the film's musical score by John Murphy and David Fleming. The collection also includes the original Krypto-focused animated short, "Paws to Pixels: Krypto is Born".
