I loved this miniseries. It’s a spin off of the wonderful Immortal Iron Fist series, which introduced the “Immortal Weapons,” who are members of ancient martial arts communities similar to K’un Lun.
Each issue focuses on one of the characters:

It starts with Fat Cobra, who learns about his own origin from a researcher/biographer, and is surprised by his own past.

Bride of Nine Spiders.

Dog Brother #1.

Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter, who apparently is the equivalent of an Amazon queen.

The Prince of Orphans, the most creepy and mystical of the lot.
Each issue has a different creative team as well, and a different tone or focus. The Bride’s story is a horror tale. Fat Cobra and Tiger’s Daughter get tragic origin stories. Dog Brother gets a gritty “when he was a child” tale that is the best of the lot.
In all, a very fun series of very little consequence (especially because the IWs never really go on to be important characters).
Across all six issues is a back-up feature titled, “The Caretakers,” which offers a continuing narrative about Luke Cage and Iron Fist helping out people from Harlem. The story isn’t compelling enough to get people to buy the issues, though–the real reason to get these are the origin stories for each of the Weapons. It is nice to have the duo back together though.
