In retrospect, this series ends exactly as it should: With terrible time-travel mishegas. The team goes to an alternate future where the original Night Thrasher has been resurrected, stolen Tony Stark’s armor, and now rules the world with an (ahem) “iron fist.” Seems like Iron Man is a fascist in every Marvelverse?
After solving the problems of the future, they return to the 616 timeline where, in the final panel, Donyell imagines himself as another MLK.
Do you care? Maybe. I mean, some of you reading this might actually have liked this series. But should you care? Absolutely not.
