I wrap up this month by reviewing part 5 of Death Spiral in Amazing Spider-Man #25/989. The book really shines with the artwork by Ed McGuinness and Joe Kelly does actually a pretty good job with the jokes. The book still feels like they are trying to wrap up stories from Eddie Brock/Carnage and also deal with Flash and MJ being “something”. But what hurts the book is the Spider University prelude and also the fact even Kelly hates Paul.
