Like many of the issues of this series, this is a mediocre rehash of material you’ve seen elsewhere that doesn’t do a whole lot of fan service other than to collect it all in one place.
There are some new pieces thrown in. I don’t recall learning that Remy connected with the Assassin’s Guild at the age of nine, when he met Bella Donna Bourdreaux–then also a child and the “princess” of the Guild. This led to a treaty between the Thieves and Assassins and–you know what? If you care about New Orleans guild alliances throughout history, you should read this yourself. I really, really don’t care about them–or much of anything Gambit related, really.
