Actor Dean Cain Returns in ‘All-American Lawman’ Vol. 2

Big Man Comics has announced Dean Cain: All-American Lawman Vol. 2: The Hong Kong Connection, a 72-page sequel that will push this indie comic series into bigger territory. The book follows lawman Chris Tanaka after the events of the first volume and sends him overseas into a new fight. Tanaka heads to Hong Kong and runs straight into a powerful criminal network. The stakes rise fast. The threats more serious. And the mission puts him up against enemies who do not play by any rules.

This thrilling new series comes from former actor Dean Cain and writer Gabe Eltaeb. Cain is probably best known for playing Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Eltaeb spent years at DC Comics as a colorist on major titles, including Man of Steel. He later stepped away from mainstream publishers after saying they lost touch with the classic American hero.

Eltaeb has been clear about his goal. He wants stories that respect family, country, and personal duty. That focus drives this series. Teaming with Cain, he built a character who acts on those values and faces real consequences. The first volume set the tone, as Chris worked with the CIA to take down a Mexican drug cartel that kidnapped his sister. He fought to save his family while protecting his son and holding firm to what he believes is right.

The newest volume expands that story. Hong Kong becomes the backdrop for a clash with organized crime on an international scale. The action stays front and center. The tone sticks to a clean, straight approach that avoids the content choices common in modern comics.

Readers can pre-order the book now through the official campaign page. Special editions include signed bookplates from Dean Cain and Gabe Eltaeb. The first one thousand orders also receive a trading card. Big Man Comics expects delivery of these orders in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Dean Cain: All-American Lawman is a series aimed at early teens and older, delivering action and comic-style violence without any profanity, gore, or adult content. That choice stands out in a market where many publishers have moved in a different direction.

The strong response to this series points to a demand that hasn’t gone away. Readers still want clear heroes with exciting storytelling, and this comic project blends Hollywood recognition with independent production that’s aiming straight at that audience.
