Our Army at War v1 #300 featuring Sgt. Rock, 1977 - Reaching their third
issue, Rock and Easy Company are tasked with holding a hill from the Nazis at all costs. Bob Kaniger ensures the "300" theme is prevalent in his script, while Joe Kubert delivers impressive drawings and a momentous cover. Note that this is Kubert's last story art on the series, twenty-two years since his first on OOAW. His last cover would be the following issue. Other artists in this issue include Lee Elias.
